The heart of Women’s Ministry is to come along and support women of every age, stage, and background to follow Jesus and glorify God. Our desire to make disciples of Jesus Christ is founded on three values.
Community. Growing in our faith is best done in a group of women all wanting to encourage each other to know Christ deeply.
Equipping. We want to equip women with the tools to study God’s word and to have a vibrant relationship with Him.
Serving. We want to reach out and serve the needs of women and families locally and worldwide.
We presently apply these values in the followings ways:
Thursday Night Bible Study
Our WM Bible study meets most Thursdays from 7-9:15 pm at the Ministry Center. We are presently studying New Testament Foundations looking at the books of Luke and Acts.
We mobilize the women in the church to provide care and support to those in need at the church. For example, we provide meals to parents with newborns and organize prayer chains for families going through difficult times.
We work together with various non-profits to reach out to the needs of the community and worldwide. This past year, we organized a letter-writing campaign for persecuted Christians through Open Doors USA and raised money in support of Hope Positive Africa, a Christian ministry in Rwanda that supports women who are HIV+ by providing them with life-saving medication and skills to support themselves.
Every year, we host various events, such as our annual Women’s Retreat, Women’s Tea / Night Out, and other more casual outings and get-togethers, to provide time for the women at the church to deepen their relationships with God and one another.
