The purpose of this student leadership program is to build, equip and train our students to become spiritual leaders and disciple makers.

Two of the Great Commandments that Jesus gave when questioned was to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and to “love your neighbor as yourself.” (Mt. 22:37-38) We at Ambassador Youth believe that every believer must base their foundations within these two commandments. And in conjunction to these two commandments, Jesus’ last commandment before ascending to heaven commissions us to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”(Mt. 28:18-20) Therefore, we at Ambassador Youth desire to disciple and equip faithful students who intentionally seek to love others and make disciples wherever they go, and love God above all else. (Eph. 4:10-16)

Our hope is that the students will become equipped and ready to serve in any variety of ministry that God calls them to. We seek to invest in students who not only become faithful Christ followers, but become leaders that stand firm in a ever changing world. Leaders who will in turn raise more leaders.(2 Tim. 2)

Aside from the things that every believer is called to do, we want to equip these students to become leaders among believers.

We want to place students in leadership positions, where they can learn and experience what leadership looks like firsthand. Whether that is as a worship leader, an event leader, or any other position, we want to place each student in a position where God has gifted them. Not just to lead, but to serve as an example to the rest of the youth, the Church, and the rest of the world. (1 Tim. 4:12)

On top of hands on experience, the students will be guided along by leaders, and be discipled along the way. (Heb. 13:7)

The student leadership program starts in June, with a one year commitment. We have weekly meetings with the student leadership after youth service, as well as 3 leadership overnight retreats throughout the year. We ask that students not only faithfully attend Ambassador Youth, but also be able to commit to the meetings.
